The high usage of HFCS in processed food industries has been linked to increased occurence of obesity, diabetes owing to its chemical composition.
Why is good fat (unsaturated fats) necessary for you while you build muscle?
Good fats are class of fats that are rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fatty acids have been shown to inhibit cholesterol accumulation in body. Presence of unsaturated fatty acids in diet are also shown to control free radicals. This is especially important during heavy work outs when muscle break down and building leads to oxidation and generation of free radicals.
