What is the shelf life of your bars?

For best quality, our food should be consumed by the BEST BY or SELL BY date printed on each wrapper. To find where the BEST BY or SELL BY date is located. The shelf life on our bars currently is 3 months.

Are your products safe for Diabetics?

You should consult your dietician / doctor if you are diabetic and want to include Yogabars as part of your diet. Let us know if you have specific questions about the ingredients that we use and we’ll be more than happy to respond to you.

Can kids eat Yogabars?

Snack bars and super food bare are made with 100% natural ingredients, with no artificial sweetners or other ingredients. They are the perfect nutritious treat for kids! You can divide one Yogabar into 2-3 bars for a readymade delicious snack for the children. The Yogabar is not as sweet as “candy bars,” so children can enjoy themselves without becoming “sugared out.”

Because Gym Bars (High protein) are formulated with adult protein needs in mind, children should not eat a whole bar until their nutritional needs more closely match those of an adult (around ages 9-13). Children ages 4-9 could have half on occasion and as with all food choices, parents should use their best judgment.

Can the bar be used for lunch replacement?

Lunch is ideal when it contains a full complement of fresh fruit and vegetables. We all experience times when we just need to “grab something” on the run and keep going. Since Yogabars are large, nutrient dense bars they are the perfect replacement for when you can’t sit down for a nutritious meal. The protein and fiber deeply satisfy and help maintain a steady stream of energy throughout the afternoon.

Are Yogabars organic? Are Yogabars vegan?

We focus on using 100% natural ingredients. Some of our ingredients are organic (palm sugar, virgin coconut oil) but overall our bars are not organic.

We use honey in most of our bars. That does not allow us to classify the product as vegan.

I noticed oil when I open the wrapper, where is it from?

We use nut butters in all of our bars. When nut butters are a little warm, a little bit of fresh oil will rise to the top of the bar. This means that the bar is pure with no artificial emulsifiers. If you store the bar in a cool place, the nut butter oil will reabsorb into the bar.
