It's party time of the year 🥳 Here's a super healthy party snack that'll make you love quinoa 😋❤️
Ingredients:
✨ Yogabar quinoa-1cup
✨ Cooked and mashed potato-2
✨ Grated carrot-1/2cup
✨ Chopped onion-1
✨ Crushed Brown Bread – ½-3/4cup
✨ Green chili paste-2tsp
✨ Garlic paste-1tsp
✨ Finley Chopped coriander leaves- a handful
✨ Salt- as per taste
✨Cumin seeds-1tsp
✨Oil-2tsp+ for brushing
Procedure:🧑🍳
💛 Rinse the quinoa under cold water and drain. In a saucepan, bring the vegetable broth to a boil, add the quinoa, cover and cook until the broth has been absorbed and the quinoa is tender about 15 minutes. Drain it.
💛 Heat oil in the non-stick pan; Add cumin seeds, onion, and green chili-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
💛 Add grated carrot, Quinoa, and mashed potatoes and saute for 2-3minutes.
💛 Add salt crushed brown bread, and coriander and mix well
💛 Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down completely.
💛 Make bite-sized kababs or use skewers to roll them into long kababs.
💛 Heat a pan/skillet and cook them on all sides on a hot tava with a few drops of oil till golden brown.
💛 Serve hot with tomato sauce/mint chutney/salads.
Note:
You can bake this also just after rolling on skewers place on the lined baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20minutes at 180deg c.
